This is where we'll post our latest weddings, engagement shoots and personal projects from Athens and beyond. I'm not much of a words guy so enjoy the photos and ignore the writing. If you want to go back further, check out the Archive list at the bottom of the page.
We caught the last weekend with colorful leaves for Harrison and Emmah’s family shoot. We had a ton of fun playing in the leaves and taking some photos around College Green. Here are a few of my favorite images:
There were a lot of big smiles at the Hatfield’s family shoot this fall! See a few of the pictures below:
I had the pleasure of photographing Sam and Jared’s engagement and wedding photos over 5 years ago, and now they have 2 kids and one on the way! We had a great time this fall at Strouds Run for their family shoot. Check out a few of my favorite images:
I’m so excited to photograph Andrew and Addey’s wedding this summer! Take a look at their engagement shoot from the fall:
I met up with Ashley and Josh at the Ridges last month for their engagement shoot. We started off with some photos with their two dogs (I love photographing people with their pets!). Then we took some photos with just the two of them around the beautiful Ridges. As we headed toward Radar Hill, the weather started to turn…and right as we got the end of the trail, it started to rain! They were unfazed and we squeezed in some more pics on the way back to the car. Take a look at a few photos from the shoot:
Jackie and Stephen returned to Athens last month for their engagement shoot. I love when alumni come back to OU for their engagement shoots! It's fun to reminisce with them and stroll down the streets they walked as freshman. Here’s a few from the shoot - I think we hit a good amount of the classic OU spots!
Claire and Donnie were married last month at Galbreath Chapel on Ohio University’s campus. They are both OU alumni and I love that they tied the knot in Athens! There was a drizzle all afternoon but we were still able to get outside for some pictures after the first look. After the ceremony they stopped for a shot at Pawpurr’s Bar, their old stomping ground, where Claire got to go behind the bar to pour the shots. Then they headed to the Dairy Barn for the reception, where they celebrated in the beautiful upstairs room for dinner and dancing - and dancing they did!
I had a great time traveling to Detroit for Kyle and Natasha’s wedding this month! They got married in a beautiful historic church just outside of downtown Detroit and the reception was in Dearborn.
Throughout the day I noticed one thing: Kyle and Natasha know how to have fun! They were always laughing together, even through their vows. As I mentioned in the post for their engagement shoot, our friendship goes back to our college days at Ohio University and I loved getting to see old college friends again. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day:
It was a blast hanging out with Laura, Kyle and Sophie at Kyle’s parents’ cabin in Logan! We wandered around the property with their dog (who was very photogenic). We even got a few pictures with Kyle’s race car that he takes to the county fairs. I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
Last summer I took new images for The Reserve at the Falls new website. They are one of the premiere apartment complexes in town and it was great to work with them! Their new site is up and you can check it out here: www.thefallsapartmentsathens.com.
