I'm so excited to share these images! I photographed Mark and Stephanie's engagement photos just two weeks before they got married on June 8th (photos to come). It was such a fun shoot. They had a ton of fun props and outfits and we explored some abandoned buildings. Mark is from Scotland and Stephanie is from Athens. They met in Japan while teaching English. They were so genuine and it was great to meet them. Here are just a few of the photos from the engagement shoot:
Jeff and Kristen - Engagement Shoot - Columbus, OH
A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph Jeff and Kristen. We ventured around Gahanna and managed to avoid the masses of people at the parks taking pictures for prom. It was a lot of fun getting to know the two of them and I'm looking forward to their wedding in September! Take a look at a few pictures from the shoot:
Innovation Awards Gala - Ohio University - Athens, OH
This is my second year photographing the Ohio University Innovation Awards Gala for Sway the Crowd Productions. It is an event to recognize entrepreneurs in the South-East Ohio area. Here is a quick overview of the event from March:
An Adventure in Nelsonville
Kelley and I decided to take advantage of this beautiful day and go to Nelsonville. We read at Fullbrooks Coffee shop and then explored the square. It was so nice to get out of Athens for the afternoon, even if it was only 15 minutes away. We also found an awesome abandoned building, which no self-respecting photographer could pass up.
Nick and Bethany - Winter Wedding - Cleveland, OH
Nick and Bethany had quite the snow storm on their wedding day! In fact, the venue's pipes froze and we didn't have running water or heat. The owners worked hard and found solutions and thankfully the storm didn't interfere too much. Their guests still braved the storm to come and celebrate their wedding. After the first look, we took the bridal party out to Chagrin Falls. I'm so glad that Beth and Nick were willing to tromp around in the snow before the ceremony. It was definitely worth it! The ceremony was in a cozy lodge with a fire lit behind them.
