I first met JC and Mandy when I became roommates with her brother my freshman year of college. I love their family and I've had the privilege of photographing her brother's wedding, her sister's senior pictures and now I'll be photographing their wedding. They are both quite the goofballs which made for a fun shoot. We started in Schiller Park on the edge of German Village and then went to the Scioto Mile where JC proposed. We finished off the night with a drink at The Westin (where they're getting married in June).

Rachel & Chris - Wedding - Burton, OH

Rachel and Chris' wedding day fell in the height of August, on a clear day with blue skies and nature in full bloom. It was a perfect backdrop to celebrate their genuine love for one another, which made the photographing easy. Their ceremony was held inside the historic Parkman Church, followed by a reception at the Welshfield Inn. It was so great to get to know Rachel and Chris. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day!

Liz & Tyler - Engagement - Hocking Hills, OH

Hocking Hills was completely packed when we met for Liz and Tyler's engagement shoot! I should have known since it was a beautiful, summer day. However, despite the crowds, we managed to find quiet spots and the shoot went great! Liz and Tyler were naturals and it was so much fun exploring the caves and waterfalls with them.

Megan & Cody - Engagement - Coolville, OH

You may recognize Megan and Cody from their wedding I photographed in the spring. When we met up before I photographed their wedding, they mentioned they already had their engagement photos taken. However, since the photoshoot was already included in their wedding package, they decided to have a post-wedding shoot with their horse and dog instead. It was a lot of fun to photograph the newlyweds playing with their furry friends!

Devon & Alaine - Wedding - Albany, OH

I had a great time at Devon and Alaine's wedding earlier this month!

The bridal party got ready at Alaine's childhood home, which had an awesome one-room schoolhouse on the property. The ceremony was held outside at Libby's Pumpkin Patch, followed by a reception in their beautiful new wedding barn. It was a laid back evening of celebration and fun, which fit the couple well. They even ended the night relaxing on two rocking chairs with nieces running about.
