Jackie and Stephen returned to Athens last month for their engagement shoot. I love when alumni come back to OU for their engagement shoots! John and Caitlin, both Ohio University alum, wanted an Athens enagagement shoot. We started uptown and hit up their favorite spots including the Athena Cinema and the Cats Eye Saloon, where they would catch up after a long day of classes. We then travelled to a field that is by Caitlin's parents house, which was a perfect spot for engagement pictures and the light was oh so right.

This winter has been amazing: I much prefer the 60 degree weather compared to 15 and snowy. It was just that for Katelyn and Zach's anniversary mini-session. They are both Ohio University alums and while in town for a basketball game, they took the opportunity to get some anniversary pictures. I'm so glad they did!

I had fun roaming around Athens with Theresa and Tyler for their engagement shoot. There was beautiful weather with a great sunset to end the day at Stroud's Run. I'm glad I got to meet these two and they were a joy to photograph.

Despite a heavy downpour and a block party right outside the church, Matt and Jenn had a beautiful wedding at Brookfield Church in Athens, OH. After the ceremony, a large group of friends and family transformed the auditorium into the reception site. While that was happening we ventured into Athens to take some photos with plastic bags and umbrellas in hand.
I've had the chance to get to know them over the past year, so it was such a joy to photograph their wedding. They are both such loving people and they are perfect for each other. I look forward to seeing their marriage grow over the next few years.
