Claire and Donnie were married last month at Galbreath Chapel on Ohio University’s campus. They are both OU alumni and I love that they tied the knot in Athens! There was a drizzle all afternoon but we were still able to get outside for some pictures after the first look. After the ceremony they stopped for a shot at Pawpurr’s Bar, their old stomping ground, where Claire got to go behind the bar to pour the shots. Then they headed to the Dairy Barn for the reception, where they celebrated in the beautiful upstairs room for dinner and dancing - and dancing they did!Read More
Liz and Tyler, both OU alums, returned to Athens earlier this summer to get married! Their ceremony was in the beautiful Galbreath Chapel and the reception was at the OU Inn. The weather was great as we ventured around campus (with the exception of a short sprinkle!) after their first look. As the reception started, they had great specialty cocktails for the guests and the dance floor was full the entire night!Read More
In the middle of December, John and Emily got married. Their wedding was full of Athens charm; they said their marriage vows in Galbreath Chapel right on College Green and encouraged their guests to take a short walk down Court Street (complete with holiday lights and evergreen wreaths) before arriving at Central Venue, their reception location.
Despite the picturesque setting of this wedding, the bride and groom’s genuine joy was the best (and most effortless!) aspect to capture. John and Emily’s happiness was so evident, I could hardly put my camera down! It was clear they were truly celebrating being able to become husband and wife.
Here's only a few of the many pictures from the day:
