It brought me so much joy to photograph the Schmaltz family this fall. They have been so influential in my life and I love seeing their daughter grow up. We played around the house for a little, letting Adeline warm up to me and the camera. Soon enough, she was blowing kisses to the camera and I knew we were good to go. Then, we headed to Libby’s Pumpkin Patch which Adeline adored! See my favorite images below:Read More
I recently had the honor of photographing Jordyn Zimmerman who is receiving a "Yes I Can" award from the Council for Exceptional Children. She is being awarded for her efforts to become a special education teacher and for her advocacy for special needs. Jordyn has autism and has difficulty speaking. However, with the help of an iPad and voice-to-speech software, she is able to excel at school and is currently a freshman at Ohio University in the Patton College of Education.
It was a joy to meet her and take her portraits last month. The weather was quite cold, but Jordyn was a good sport and smiled anyways as we took some pictures outside.
Congratulations on the well-deserved award!Read More
Adam and Amanda have been our neighbors for the past two years. It's been a lot of fun getting to know them and to see their girls grow up. Both Adeline and Rosalie are hilarious and adorable! Last Sunday afternoon I stopped by and hung out for a while.Read More
The last time I photographed the Kuhnerts they only had 3 children. Now their count is up to 5! I had so much fun photographing them and seeing all their different personalities come out. I even love the meltdowns and difficulties of getting even one picture of just the kids.Read More
