Ray and Adrienne were married on Adrienne's beautiful family farm, just under the tree where her father proposed to her mother. It was a beautiful ceremony officiated by her best friend. In true Ohio fashion, we saw sun, snow and rain for Eireánn & Kyle's Saint Patrick's day wedding. However, that didn't put a damper on the party!
Eireánn and Kyle are such a joy to be around and I could truly see their love for each other. I also enjoyed seeing all of the Irish elements they incorporated into the day, including the decorations, a hand-tying ceremony, and even Eireánn performing an Irish jig with her brother.

I recently had the honor of photographing Jordyn Zimmerman who is receiving a "Yes I Can" award from the Council for Exceptional Children. She is being awarded for her efforts to become a special education teacher and for her advocacy for special needs. Jordyn has autism and has difficulty speaking. However, with the help of an iPad and voice-to-speech software, she is able to excel at school and is currently a freshman at Ohio University in the Patton College of Education.
It was a joy to meet her and take her portraits last month. The weather was quite cold, but Jordyn was a good sport and smiled anyways as we took some pictures outside.

After waiting for months for a good snow, we decided to take matters into our own hands. It turned out to be the best of both worlds: pictures in the snow without freezing!
